Good bye Deb
Paul saying good bye to Deb as she starts out for Ames and then to Alaska. Earthie is packed, has new tires and brakes and is reved up and ready to go.
The trip has begun. Tuesday was a 400 mile day. Mom and Dad and I say Paul Bunin on the way up. And his girlfriend Lessette. I am writing from outside of Hackinsack MN, on Stoney Lake. The drive into the Trout's is the nicest gravel we may experience all trip. Jerry graded it before we came. Smooth! Beth and Jerry have a beautiful place on the lake. Very relaxing.
We went into town today and shopped at Country Side food co-op & at Mark's Market, stopped at B&J's church and the Share & Care store. Also went to Piecework Quilt Shop. Lovely fabrics.
Dad and Les, Jerry's brother, went out into the lake with Jerry and took water temps and depths. He sends this in for water quality reporting.
I started knitting on a pair of socks this morning. We will see how long they take.
